Maestro Urs Leonhardt Steiner and Master Magician Jay Alexander have shared a vision of taking classical music and adding some magic, making it more fun and accessible to a wider audience. That becomes a reality Sunday, March 1 at the Herbst Theatre when they perform Magic at the Symphony . This exciting family concert uniting the comedy magic and mentalism show of magician to the stars Alexander (Robin Williams, John Cleese, the Rolling Stones & more) with the playful sounds of the San Francisco Sinfonietta Orchestra under the baton of charismatic Steiner will definitely delight the young and the not so young. Witness the world's only Psychic Symphony, a floating violinist and more! Hear fascinating and familiar orchestral works like the "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", "Can Can", "Flight of the Bumblebee" and other favorites paired with Jay's masterful ability to fool the audience and leave them amazed.
